The Mission and Vision of the District A.H.& Vety.Office Golaghat
1) Improving the quality of animal health services.
2) Obtaining an increase in the livestock production .
3) Increasing the livelihood of the rural people.
4) Increasing the employment generation among rural youth.
5) Increasing the capacity building and training in rural sector.
Objectives
1) To enhance milk, meat and egg production.
2) To improve breedable livestock population through Artificial Insemination & Natural services by improved breeds.
3) To enhance production of quality feed and fodder.
4) To take up available insurance to support livestock.
5) To enhance backyard poultry farming.
6) To improved healthcare facilities in prevention and control of animal diseases.
7) To disseminate technical knowhow in management of livestock and poultry to the farmers.
8) To improve better collection, processing and marketing infrastructure.
9) To make producers and consumers aware of the benefits of clean and hygienic animal products.
10)To built capacity of Veterinary professionals for providing better resource to the Farmers.
